Every sculpture in our studio collection is carved exclusively from 100% Solid Gamari Wood (Indian White Teak) — hand-shaped, gouged, and finished in organic oil. No two natural grain patterns ever repeat.
No automated CNC or mass industrial machinery. Every piece is sculpted entirely by human hand using specialized traditional chisels, precision micro-files, and multi-coat protective varnish.
Inspecting solid Gamari logs for dense figure, natural moisture balance, and radiant golden grain before hand-blocking the initial silhouette.
Using curved gouges, V-tools, and flat chisels to slice away timber layer by layer, bringing out deep three-dimensional form and organic muscle.
Master sculptors use fine cabinet rasps and micro-files to smooth transitions, carve subtle tactile ridges, and perfect every flowing curve by touch alone.
Sealed with multiple coats of premium protective varnish, hand-buffed to a radiant, mirror-smooth sheen that amplifies Gamari's golden grain and shields against time.
Also known as Indian White Teak (Gmelina arborea) — celebrated by master woodcarvers for its golden luster, silky grain, and lifetime durability.
Gamari features a natural yellowish-gold tone with a silky grain sheen that deepens gracefully into rich honey amber under organic hand-rubbed tung oil.
✦ Silky Tactile SheenExceptional dimensional stability — highly resistant to humidity swelling, cracking, or warping even across extreme changing seasonal climates.
✦ Seasoned StabilitySupple yet firm grain structure allows hand gouges to slice cleanly, holding crisp sculptural edges, fine curves, and tactile contours.
✦ Master WorkabilityRich in natural defensive oils that protect the timber against wood-boring insects, termites, and fungal moisture decay for generations.
✦ Lifetime ProtectionCustom Gamari commissions accepted in small batches — designed from initial sketch to final hand oiling.
